About Us
Pipeline Testing Consortium, Inc. (PTC) started as a
small, family-owned pipeline contractor, constructing and
maintaining pipelines in Kansas. When Congress passed strict DOT
safety regulations in 1989, we understood how important drug testing
would be and PTC was born. Established in 1990, Pipeline Testing
Consortium, Inc. is now one of the largest third party
administrators of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and
alcohol testing in the oil and gas industry.
Pipeline Testing
Consortium, Inc. specializes in administrating substance abuse
programs for companies subject to U.S. DOT regulations under the
Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and the
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Additionally,
PTC develops company administered (non-DOT) Substance Abuse Programs
for employees not subject to Federal regulations. We provide
services to over 1,900 companies and do over 80,000 drug tests per
year. Our clients range from “one man” welding companies to
nationwide pipeline operators.
PTC has developed
a video "YOUR FRONT LINE IN THE WAR AGAINST DRUGS," to help bring
awareness to the services and programs available from PTC. If you
would like a video along with other information sent to you or would
like to visit with us about services or programs you may need now or
in the future, please call us at 800-294-8758, Ext 403.
